Privacy Policy
Short version: Pavse collects, transmits and shares no personal data. There is no account and no server. Everything the app needs stays on your phone.
This policy covers the Pavse app for Android and iOS (“the app”) and the website pavse.app (“the website”).
1. Data we collect
None. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data. There is no Pavse account and no Pavse server for your data to go to.
2. Data the app processes on your phone
To do its job, the app uses some information locally. It is processed and stored only on your device and never leaves it:
- App usage data on Android. With your permission (Android “Usage access”,
PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS), the app reads which apps you use and for how long, so it can apply your limits, Sleep Shield and streak. This is processed on-device only. - App usage data on iOS. The iOS version is not released yet. Like the Android app, it will process app usage on your device only. Before it is released, we will add the exact details here, including which Apple system permissions it asks for.
- Your name and drawn signature. If you enter your name or draw a signature in the app, they are stored on-device only, on both Android and iOS.
- Your settings. Limits, schedules and streak history are stored on-device only.
On Android, you can revoke usage access at any time in your Android settings.
3. No internet access
Neither the Android nor the iOS app has internet access. The app cannot send your data anywhere, and it contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
On iOS, the app does not use iCloud: your data is not synced to or stored in iCloud.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not share any data with third parties, because we do not have any data to share.
5. Deleting your data
All data lives on your phone. Uninstalling the app (on Android or iOS), or clearing the app's data in Android settings, deletes it. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
6. Children
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
7. This website
pavse.app is a set of static pages. It uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts and no third-party resources; even the fonts are served from this domain. Like any website, our hosting provider may briefly process technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. We do not use this to identify you.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
